up for bid is a vintage 1956 Schwinn 3-Speed Corvette - date code is L97140
Condition is Used
Paint is in good condition, paint has normal nicks and scratches associated with a 50+ year old bicycle Both tires are very good, they are Goodyear Whitewalls with nice tread
Chrome parts are nice, the fenders and fender braces are rust free, there is some light rust on some of the parts such as the 3-speed thumb shifter, handlebars, and other small chrome parts
Bike rolls well, bo...th wheels spin as they should - wheels are original S-7 - the spokes on the front wheel are a little rusty, rear spokes are cleaner
Seat is nice with no rips or flaws, has I believe the original pedals
Overall a very nice, original Schwinn Bicycle - bike has been stored in a dry garage for many years
Bike will be carefully boxed and shipped with Fed Ex Ground
