Antique 19thc Large Parian Figure Group of Venusand Cupid C1865 Possibly R&L Really lovely Parian figure group of semi-nudefemale Venus and Cupid. The group stands 16 incheshigh on a base 4.5 inches across. Venus is portrayed nakedexcept from her waist. Naked Cupid looks down at her adoringly. The parian is very smooth creamy and tactile.The modelling is superb, the detail fine. .
