Click images to enlarge Description 19th Century oil painting on artists board of seated sleeping child holding a bowl of milk with cat drinking from it. No apparent signature but clearly by an exceptional hand - possibly signed by artist verso but can't quite make it out . In good clean condition. Measures 27cms x 20cms (10 1/2" x 8") and 30cms x 23.5cms (11 3/4" x 9 1/4") in its gilt frame. Beautiful subject !
