A very pretty 1930's Art Deco Engraved 9 carat Gold Rolled Gold Locket and chain, and in excellent condition. The locket is nice and large and has an engraved peony style flower on the face with a pattened border, the flower displays as bright gold against a brushed gold finish. The back is plain brushed gold with the marking ROLLED GOLD. The locket measures 1 and 5/8" long [not including the loop] by 1 and 1/4" wide [4, 4 cms by 3.3 cms] and closes with a snap. The locket is held by a... 22" long rolled gold chain with a strong ring bolt catch. The locket and chain weigh 11.9 gms. A lovely piece for holding photographs, very eyecatching when worn.
