Original Description:
Old Native American Trade Axe Tomahawk from the early 19th century or late 18th century as depicted in the trade tomahawks encylopedia. Trade axes were traded all over the early eastern U S as well as the Plains. Untouched brass wire wrap typical 0f early American Indian tomahawks and the blade is marked by early maker.  There is traces of black or dark dark blue paint, and a iron hook on the end for a drop. War axe looks very very old, iron shows  age and the brass has a dar...kened patina and has a natural mellow aged patina not cleaned.  There is a cartouche but im not sure of who the maker is, I do not have a book to look it up. Pefect for that western decore or the man cave of history.
