You get everything shown, which includes the external LCD display.
The impact motor has a problem, the physical unit is in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures. We were using it in our office until impact motor went bad (not sure if that is the official name, but the motor that causes the print wheel to strike the paper.) Everything else was working correctly at the time.
