Patent dates from 1895 through 1916. Serial number 2561D. Components appear to be in good condition. Utilized in industrial / manufacturing / railroad applications. Wooden box with hinged compartment, which is missing its lid. Box latches easily. Testing devices and components are inside the box. Can’t tell if any pieces are missing. All the apparatus is screw in, but I didn’t attempt to remove any pieces. There are several other loose pieces, weights, and springs. Pieces appear in... good condition, with no corrosion. Box is solid, and shows wear consistent with age and storage. Box measures 12 ½ by 8 ½ by 7 inches. Weighs almost 13 pounds. Great addition to your steampunk / industrial / railroadiana memorabilia collection.
