WOW! Antique Rare GEBRUDER BING No 1636 VERTICAL STEAM ENGINE Cast Iron Toy!
Up for sale is a rare toy steam engine made by Bing in the early 1900s. It has a cast iron base, hand-painted flywheel with decorations, and an original burner. I've also discovered a small whistle that belongs to this engine. It was accidentally bent during shipping but I believe it might be possible to fix it. This engine model is number 1636. You can see that number on the bottom of the base along wi...th the company's initials GB. I haven't tried to run this engine with the fuel, but I spun the flywheel and it rotates freely with the rods moving. Since I haven't tried it to run, I am selling this engine as is. Also, I've noticed couple dents on the boiler. You can restore this engine and bring it to life, or leave untouched for your collection!
