splayed lion style feet, ringed handles, scrolled/acanthus detail on front as well as on the top where the hinges are located inside
no inner box
the lid has a slight slope
the front is curved & the length along this is 15.75 inches
height at back 13.5 inches
depth along the middle of the lid 10.25 inches
overall condition is good for age - some very minor di...ngs on lid as well as some little marks elsewhere some of which may lessen with cleaning - the item hasn't been cleaned for a long time
the lid is more dull than sides
