Unusual & rare c.1899 Antique French gold gilt metal & glass boudoir display stand. Made up of two thick bevelled glass shelves, set into a gold gilt metal shelving frame. Corners are typical Art Nouveau design & it is topped with a red velvet, cardboard backed plateau, which was originally edged in passmenterie. Can easily be replaced in a colour of your choice.Originally used by a bride to display all her wedding souvenirs.
