ENGLISH PEARLWARE POTTERY TEA BOWL & SAUCERCIRCA 1820-30
An attractive small English pottery pearlware teabowl and saucer, transfer print decorated with figures in landscapes in blue, mustard brown and olive green, featuring sheep and trees. The teabowl has a small house painted in the well and the same pattern on the inner rim.
The base of the teabowl has a crescent mark and a painted 6 and the saucer is marked with a dark mark resembling an exclamation mark.
Condi...tion: hairline rim crack in tea bowl, saucer has a small rim chip and a very faint glaze rim crack: please see my photos (although difficult to show crack)
