DESCRIPTION.A finely painted 18th century Italian School head and shoulders portrait of an elderly nun. The work has been painted on to a c...anvas which has been laid to an early 19th century board. Presented in a century wood and compo frame.
The work is in a good to fair antique condition with retouches to several areas. A few tiny paint loss exists. Medium to light craquelure runs throughout. The frame is in an excellent vintage condition with some accumulated dust.
