Circa 1870's to 1900's signed signed & dated Bridgeport Brass Co. 'Leader' burner and chimney kerosene lamp set-up. Set-up is 7 3/4" tall. The chimney is 6 15/16" tall with a rectangular lipped fitter. The burner is signed on the thumbwheel which reads "Bridgeport Brass Co."around the outer part and the word 'Leader' on the inside portion. The burner is also signed on the bottom on a 4 line signature which reads 'Pat'd' 'June 1. 69' 'Sept 18. 77' ... 'Nov 18 78 Apr 6 87'. Overall excellent condition with no cracks or large chips has the usual bubbles and straw marks. Burner is free of any dents or splits. The chimney has a shallow flat flake on the top opening and on the fitter. Collar is for display purposes only and is not included in the auction. Buyer pays P/S/I.
