These fabulous "Peal & Co. Ltd." riding or field boots with their original trees are in "as found" condition.The brown leather is in good condition and has developed a superb depth of colour and patina, however, there are the usual scuffs and scratches you would expect from a pair of well used boots of this age.There are no major splits or tears to the leather and the stitching is in good order.The substantial leather soles and heels are good and solid.The boots have the makers detail...s and Royal Crest inside.The original beech boot trees have their handles and applied ivorine plaques to the top with the original owners name.The hinged feet work well.They have also taken on lovely colour and patina.As the boots were bespoke/ handmade and specific to the owner there is no size marked on them.The external measurements of the boots are approx 50 cm (19 3/4 inches) high to the boot top. The sole measures 29.5 cm (11 3/4 inches) long and is 11 cm (4 1/2 inches) wide.They measure approximately 42 cm (16 1/2 inches) around the calf. Vintage - "Peal & Co.
