For your bidding pleasure is a lovely antique bisque head doll attributed to George Borgfeldt & Co. She stands 24 1/2" tall. Pretty brown eyes are still on the rocker but have been crudely set. Smooth complexion with rosy cheeks, open mouth showing her teeth. Head is incised ~ Germany / GB ~ . She has two pin sized black dots, one on her forehead and the other by her mouth. Otherwise there is no imperfections to the bisque. No hairlines or repairs. She is on her original ball... jointed composition body which retains its original paint and finish. Body is in nice condition with only some light scuffing on the legs and some small paint chips. One nicely done repair to her left arm hole. Doll is tightly strung so will stand nicely. She comes dressed in an antique chemise with bottom edge lace and several rows of fine pin tucking across bodice and sleeves. Draw string at the neck edge. Minor imperfections to chemise. Nice doll.
