This is a rare antique Caco man doll in Bavarian costume, wearing Liederhosen. I am told this by a helpful person: He was made with a family of mother daughter and son and was sold by FAO Schwarz. The toy company also sold a chalet dollhouse during those years with the Dora Kuhn furniture sets. He could possible be the earlier version of this doll, and is likely from the late 1950s. H...e is 1:18 scale. He has a lot of detailed facial expression! He is in good condition for its age. Please see photos carefully and ask questions if needed.
