Here's a big, heavy, old and Rare View Camera lens with Shutter for a big old large format camera from the turn of the 20th Century--- early 1900's. Made by Rochester Optical Co. in New York, it has Patent dates on it from 1900 and 1901. I'm really not very familiar with this kind of photography and cameras, but I'll tell you it has very nice and clean glass--- there's some flecks of dust in there but no fog or separation or other problems worth mentioning. The "Regu...lar" shutter cocks and fires.... but not too well--- the 3 "fast" speeds all sound and look the same, the slow speeds stick open. The T & B settings also work but I don't know if correctly--- so no guarantees on accuracy on any of them... it should get some servicing if you intend to use it. The f-stop works--- is clean with no oil and it opens and closes easily. The rest is in good condition--- no damage other than wear and tear expected from a 110+ year old lens.
