This rare and collectible authentic Pauline Rader necklace is a beautiful piece consisting of gold colored Roman coin replicas of varying sizes, each with a lapis lazuli colored plastic stone placed in the center or close to the center of the coin.
The necklace is approximately 22” in length and is in good condition with small sings of wear.

Pauline Rader was the daughter of a jeweler and began designing her own jewelry round 1962 and ceased ...operations in the 1980s. Her designs were influenced by her study of and love for the jewelry of antiquity being highly imaginative and usually massive in size, that often showed mystical Greek or Italian influences. She used heavy antique gold tone, gold wash or silver tone metal for the base with pave set or bezel set, faceted simulated colored stones, simulated pearls, glass colored beads and rhinestones.
