Acquired from a former antique collector and world travelers estate with a hand written adhesive label on the base which read "From China 19th Century". Although there is no signature or reign mark, the manner in which the foo dog and handles are secured as well as the wear to the incising are indicative of the 1800's Qing Dynasty possibly prior.
