Two (2) antique (19th century) Minton porcelain plates. Beautifully hand painted, featuring playful cherubs, monochrome puce. One is riding a goat; the other has a quiver of arrows at his back, a basket of fruit by his side. Tiffany blue enamel borders. Gently scallope...d rims, gilt trim. Apx 9 1/8" diameter. Small hand painted pattern or artist codes on the back; blind-stamped "Minton". Please note one plate (cherub with basket) has small spots of wear to the paint, and wear to the gilt trim (see close-ups); otherwise very good condition ~ no chips, cracks, or hairlines.
