The clock features a architectural design with the various bronze mounts which are in great condition and the beautiful red marble panel to the centre, the case has a original age patina to the slate with a sheen that can only be produced over timeThe Clock Measures - 13.5 inches high x 11.75 inches wide x 7 inches deepDialThe clock has a 4.5 inch diameter slate chapter ring dial which has engraved roman numerals, to the centre their is a brass plate and the quality visible escapement with its jewel pallets. The dial has its original hands and is protected by the glazed brass bezelMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day gong striking movement witha visible escapement which is in full working order keeping time and striking as it should on the half past and the hours, comes with its french pendulum and with a winding key, the movement dates to around circa 1870Condition ReportThis clock is in great original condition and in full working order, please have a good look over the many Pictures I have provided which can help with any further item description. This is a superb antique French architectural slate & marble mantel clock which is in great condition for age.
