This is a beautiful vintage KPM plaque, fresh from an estate (selling for owner).
The back paper was cut and the backboard removed to show the marks on the reverse ("before" picture included).
Plaque size is marked 237mm x 158mm (about 9 1/4" x 6 1/4").
The stamp tag in one corner is hand written "20 / Asti".
The front is signed "Bach" on the lower front right corner.
The frame appears to be older, gilt (and white accented) solid carved wood. The ...outside of the frame measures 12" x 15".
Condition of the plaque is excellent. No issues.
The back paper is left hinged (uncut) at the top, and backboard and nails are replaced exactly as they were. A seal could be added on the 3 cut sides, but I will leave it loose.
Total weight of the framed plaque is 3.38 pounds.
