For sale is this Vintage Pearce-Simpson Tiger 40A Citizen Band Radio Transceiver 40 Channels. AM only radio. I am selling this item AS-IS and UNTESTED. I picked this transceiver up from a estate sale. This unit does power on. It does receive. Meter does indicate S Units. Lights on meter and channel selector do light. However, there is very little sound coming from internal speaker as well from external speaker that I connected. Could be there needs to be a microphone connected to it? T...his unit does NOT come with power cord or microphone. It does transmit using a test jig I have. Power output was around 3.5 watts. There is a terrible squeal when in transmitter mode.
