This is a throwback football to commemorate the growth of the NFL under Pete Rozelle. I believe these were made in the early 2000's or late 90's. Today's NFL owes a lot to Pete Rozelle. He transformed a struggling league in 1959 to the preeminent US sport that it is today. See below link for some details on the football. This would be a great gift for an NFL fan and great for autographs. Ball is in perfect condition with the or...iginal box. Made in the USA. Holds air and looks very cool. They really created a vintage look on this ball. Could pass as a period piece.
