Item: Visible Chassis & V-8 EngineThis item is being sold mainly for parts because neither Chassis nor Engine are complete. Description: For Sale in Original Box is the 1961 Renwal Visible Automobile Chassis Assembly Kit No 813 AND included in the same box is the Renwal Visible V-8 Engine that was meant to attach to the Chassis and they were sold separately. I got this from the Original Owner who was just a boy when it was given it to him. These a...re NOT complete and some things are partially put together. The original owner told me he learned a lot from these kits although he did not finish neither of them. Ironically, he is the owner of a incredibly well known North N.J. Hot Rod and Motorcycle Shop now!! This box has sat dormant for over 30 years until just recently. Please read carefully below about condition, completeness etc... I am hoping a big PLUS to this listing is that much of the V-8 Engine is also included. I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. Condition: On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidentlygrade these items overall condition to be a solid N/A. It is not possible for me to give one of my usual number grades on this item. First, everything is at least 90% Immaculate. I don't sell dirty items. Everything has been wiped clean. As for the Chassis, I would conservatively estimate at least 40% of it is there. I know ONE tire is missing for sure. I could be way off on my estimate and hopefully I am and more of it is there than I think. Some parts are broken but as for the parts that are present I estimate that most of them are in undamaged condition. One of the frames is TOO long to fit inside the box and that will cause a shipping issue unless I carefully shorten it. As for the V-8 Engine, I estimate that 50% of the parts are here at least. I truly cannot tell if anything is broken. Nothing is jumping out at me that is obviously broken on the engine. While separating the parts, I may have accidentally put a engine part with the chassis parts. I know that the Engine's Oil Pan is accidentally with the chassis parts when I took photos. The Original box I would grade a 6.5 at least. There are some tape repairs in sporadic spots that were mainly done pre-emptively to prevent anything from happening where it looked weak like in the corners. There are (3) Instruction Manuals as you can see and they are in Excellent Condition. My photos are anaccurate depiction of this item's TRUECondition. This item is being sold AS-IS with no returns. I strongly urge you to ask questions, request more photos or at the very least carefully read this listing and look at the photos I took. I really don't like the idea of having to shorten one side of the frame, but as you can see in photo#7 it simply doesn't fit in the box and would require the shipping box to be WAY TOO BIG and expensive.
