DIMENSIONS
Height: - 24.5 cm (9 5/8 inches)
Width: - 9.5 cm (3 6/8 inches)Weight: - 398 g (0.88 lb / 14 oz)
CONDITION:
No Repairs, No Restorations, No Breaks, No Hairlines, just general light scuffs, wear and scratches as you would expect for an item of this period. No Over-Painting to the glazes, there is a single thin small chip to the base rim and the only other flaw is a line in the clear top glaze. I am confident this is not a hairline and it is only in the top layer of the clear glaze. - This vase is entirely hand painted, there is no printed or stamped decoration. I can not read the Chinese script on this vase but I assume it is a poem, along with the name of the master artist who decorated the vase, the date it was painted and most probably where it was painted. (Maybe a kind ebayer will educate me as to what the script says in English). - Rest assured this vase is a genuine Republic Period piece and NOT a later or modern copy. It is one of the finest examples I have ever had the honour to own and enjoy. I know the winner of this auction will be absolutely delighted with it. - Good Luck!
