This auction is for a vintage Still Bank made in the early 1900s by the W. F. Burns Co. Chicago. Patented Jan. 1, 1901: serial No. 2320 (all engraved on top). Made for and presented by the "Dime Savings Bank", Anne Arundel County, Annapolis, Md. (See name plate on front). Bank is 3.25 by 4.50 and 3.25 inches tall. Bank is missing the locking mechanism. You can see on the right edge, where the front panel was jimmied open. Handle o...n top is very nice. On the side with the round hole at top it says PAPER under the hole- Side with Rectangular Slot at top says COIN under the slot. Nice piece of old Annapolis Banking memorabilia.
