Large heavy glassfeatu...res original leaf design on circular top.Measures: 10" High, 8" Diameter Center ofJug, 4" Diameter Bottom of Jug, 1" Diameter Circle Handle Ring, 1.5" Diameter Metal Cap; Jug weight approximately 3.5 pounds solid glass.Excellent condition withno chips or cracks in body of jug; one small surface crack on base which doesnot leak. Bottle cap and lock hinge haveage rusting on metal and cap works freely to fasten open and closed. Residue spots from age on bottle interior asvisible in photos. Laird & Company isAmerica’s oldest distiller, establishing the Applejack Distillery in New Jerseyin the early 1700s, and still in operation today. Jug was used in local NJ tavern for manyyears. Great addition to any vintageglass collection for display and use, and lovely historical collectible.
