Northern Wei Dynasty Bronze Sitting Buddha/Guanyin .
Bronze sitting Buddha or Guanyin from Northern Wei dynasty.
height 8 cm. Rusts all over. Losses
The last two photos show a Buddha statue in Chinese Mogao Caves and a statue in Metropolitan Museum that belong to Northern Wei period. You would see the resemblance of this bronze statue to these two statues.

照片中最后两张是中国云冈石窟博物馆的北魏佛�...�，仅供参考。在云冈石窟开凿的初期，其风格带有浓厚犍陀罗及笈多王朝的色彩。佛像的姿势也明显反映了外来的风格，包括脸形较为丰腴、肉髻较高以及眼廓较深、鼻子较高。
