This is a LARGE Vintage Antique 1930s to 40s Mexican All Hand Hammered & Hand Etched and Hand Tooled Heavy Gauge Thick .925 Sterling Silver & Real 14k Gold and 3 Real Ruby Gemstones 1 Sapphire Rhinestone? The 3 dark red gemstones are Real natural Rubies and were tested and tests as genuine natural rubies, the one pink stone looks like a pink sapphire rhinestone and tested with the results of a quartz type gemstones, so I dont know what it is, but do know the other 3 ...are real Rubies Horseshoe type Belt Buckle.... The Buckle measures: 2 1/4" longest x 2" widest.... The buckle will fit up to a 3/4" wide belt... The buckle weighs in at a whopping 49.4 Grams.... It is stamped " Silver & Mexico " and guaranteed that the silver of this Buckle has been properly and safely tested as 100% " Sterling Silver .925 or higher " back in the old days, Mexicans used the word Silver for the jewelry that had even pure silver or .980 silver which changed when the Mexican government came out with the Silver Eagle Assay benchmark to let buyers know that the silver was .925, then later of course they came out with the .925 stamp mark.... This Belt Buckle came from an old Collection of Mexican & Native American Indian Jewelry from an Old Indian Trading Post / Pawn Shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico that Shut down many years ago, this Belt Buckle and the many other items that were in the Old inventory of this Trading Post / Pawn Shop were put away after this Trading Post / Pawn Shop shut down and then they were passed on to the son when the owner of this Old Indian Trading Post / Pawn Shop passes away, then he had them put away for many many more years.
