Offering for your bidding consideration is an antique French closed mouth Tete Jumeau doll head. Big beautiful blue glass set eyes, luscious pink lips on her closed mouth. Stamped ~ DEPOSE / TETE JUMEAU / Bte SDGD / 12 / maker's marks. The head measures 7" high with a neck measurement of 2 1/4" across and 7 1/4" around. She has pierced ears with earrings. Paint rubs on socket. Her biggest imperfection is a repaired hairline that runs down the right side of her face from the side of her... forehead past her eye and down between the ear and the cheek towards the socket. It has been repaired nicely and is hard to see. It has had touch up paint. She has a hairline on the left side as well that goes from the side of the forehead down towards the ear, around the ear and goes towards the back of the head. Once again it's been repaired nicely, hard to see. It as well has had touch up paint. Paint was blended onto cheeks nicely. Other parts of the face have not been touched. Lovely doll head.
