DESCRIPTION.For your consideration is a top quality watercolour rendering of the celebrated painting 'Angel's Heads' by Sir Joshua Reynold...s (1723-1792), painted in 1786-7. This gem of painting displays superbly executed details throughout and is beautifully presented within a highly unusual decorative mount, inside a 19th century antique gilt frame.
The work is in a very good to an excellent antique condition. There is a tiny scratch/paint loss on the hair, above the eye of the figure on the upper left, otherwise all excellent. The frame is in a good antique condition with surface wear and minimal loss.
