Here is a beautiful antique napkin ring made by Meridan Plate. It features a lily pad with the circular napkin ring attached to it by a pedestal, and a handle that is comprised of the stem with a lily bud captured in a perpetual state of early to open. The lily pad measures 3-1/2 inches wide, 3 inches deep, and is 2-1/4 inches tall. It is in original condition with light wear to the plating and some tarnishing. It was black when it came in but I washed it with gentle soap and a soft cloth, which cleaned it up but left the patina and did not distrub the plating. It is marked Meriden B. Company, Quadruple Plate, 168, USA.
We do not collect these items, and we are NOT experts in the field.
