The surface is a dark brown color with a deep& craggy bark rusticated surface. The new stem is Italian Ebonite fitted byme. The pipe is light weight. The bowl is coated with carbon inside for aneasier break-in. It’s been cleaned and polished by Tim West Pipe Repairs and isready to enjoy.
