This offering is for an antique early 1900's Electric Domestic Sad Iron made by the Chicago Flexible Shaft Co. The iron is made of nickel plated or chromed iron with a wooden handle. The makers marking on the brass tag on the back reads "SEARS ROEBUCK & CO BOUDOIR ELECTRIC IRON VOLTS 110 WATTS 330". The cord is designed to screw into a light socket and is made of cloth covered wire, we plugged it in and the iron does indeed work. The condition is excellent with minimal surface wear... to the plating and no rust. The wooden handle is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs as is the iron itself. The iron measures app. 7" in overall length and 4" to the top of the handle. The original box is included but one end flap is missing and the top flap is loose. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 12.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
