We are listing today a great Vintage Original Inuit Canada Eskimo Black Soapstone Carving of a Bird or Raven. This sculpture is in Excellent Condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. There are some old surface scuff lines in areas, you can refer to the pictures we guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The bird measures 6 1/4" tall x 8" long x 3" wide and weighs approximately 3lb 3oz. The bottom retains the 2 original labels alon...g with a L for the artist mark. Wonderful carved form of a raven with great beak and eyes, small holes at the beak, lovely slight marbling color variations throughout the stone.
