For auction is a vintage Zippo lighter with USS Portland LSD-37 on the front. It has a black paint finish over brass. The date code is hard to differentiate but I believe it has 2 vertical bars like the insert so it would be a 1986 model. The lid operates properly. It will need a new flint and fluid installed to be made operational once more. It shows minor signs of use and age including some paint loss exposing the brass underneath, this can be seen up close in the last few photos. No... major defects that I see. Overall very good used genuine piece.
