ITEM DESCRIPTIONA really wonderful very large antique gilt bronze inkstand.Dating to the second half of the 19thC.Cast in solid gilt bronze in the Adams style with panels of figures depicting the arts.Has the original bronze inserts - one is missing the glass inkwell.Measures a good 12 inches/30.5cm wide and weighs a massive 3kg!No damage, excellent original untouched condition, has not been cleaned or polished - original patina.Great piece.Don't forget this is a ...10 day auction that ends on Sunday 6th October.Please take a look at my other antiques.International buyers always very welcome!
