A 19th century Wedgwood black basalt table match box with striker built into the lid.
The lid has a classical Greco-Roman scene with a repeating pattern around the base.
It is of lozenge design and has the Wedgwood impressed mark to the underside.

Width: 5 cm ( 2 inch )
Weight: 82 grams
The item is in excellent condition for it's age and has only ver...y minimal wear to the base.
