This terrific looking Hamilton 926 is in premium working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc and strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, starts right up with one gentle twist of the wrist, and lever sets as designed. The movement holds time well within 30 seconds per week face-up after careful hand regulating and before dis-assembly. As for appearance this movement is looking just excellent, with spotless bright and clean full nickel plates with 100% of the delicate original black inlaid engraving paint intact, gold-washed jewel-setting, pillar, balance cock and (1) case screws, gold-washed, clear and correct patented Goldthwait screw micrometer regulator needle and index, super clean around the sides and up front, and roaring along holding railroad time!!
