There are two compartments: the top contains accessories used to operate the device on people and the bottom contains the dry cell battery. The Home Medical Apparatus was used by physicians in the 19th and 20th century for the treatment of a wide variety of diseases.
This is now known as "quack medicine" or "quackery" which refers to unproven o...r fraudulent medical practices.
Box is made out of solid oak and has two latches and a handle on the top for carrying.
Measures approximately 4.5" H x 5.5" W x 8.5" L
GOOD USED CONDITION WITH SOME WEAR FROM AGEI do not know if it has all of the accessories. It has some scratches to the finish.
