A beautiful and delicate antique sterling silver brooch with a blue pansy in guilloche enamel. The piece was made by Pearce & Thompson in 1914. Pansies have traditionally been seen as a messenger of love and so this may have been a love token. The brooch measures 1" across. There is a tiny scratch on one of the petals but this is only visible on very close inspection. Overall the piece is in nice condition with pin, hinge and clasp in working order.
