Old Antique Edwardian Townsend & Co Brass Oak Dinner Gong c.1900. It is well made and a lovely design, it has the Townsend makers mark on the back of the gong, a turned oak base with a brass rest for the striker. there is a small split top of the gong, when struck it sounds good, it looks great in a hallway or side table today. it measures 10 3/4 inches or 27 cm tall.
