Antique Chinese Porcelain Figure on Brocade Stand of the Goddess Guanyin
Has an impressed Qianlong mark on the bottom. I do have a close up in one of the pictures.
Detail:The seated figure robed, a scroll in the righthand, the whole save for her head covered in a thinningturquoise glaze, in a custom made soft brocade stand andfa...bric covered box, probably the original, the base with animpressed seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736 - 1795), though not of that period.
The Date range from the appraiser is second half of the 19th Century.
It measures about 4" tall including the little stand its on. Its also about 2.75" long and about 2" wide.
The figure is in great condition. The box its in, shows a lot of wear as you can see including inside. Please look at all the pictures for more details.
I had an online appraisal done on this so a lot of the information and detail is coming from that. They gave it an auction value of $200 to $300 and an Insurance value of $400. I will include a printout of what I got from them. i have not seen another one like this and would make a great addition to any collection.
