My kids have grown up, moved out, and it's time to downsize. I'm selling my precious antique jewelry collection.
This is a fabulous pair of genuine antique Victorian earrings. Each earring features a long swirling cone, with an etched band around the bottom, from which there are numerous dangling, long, chain tassels!
I've worn these earrings a million times, and as I was reviewing the photos, I noticed that they're not a perfect match. Note the band around... each earring... the etchings on one don't fully match the etchings on the other! One is also slightly longer than the other - the longer one measures 2-1/8 inches, the shorter one measures 2 inches. Honestly, it's not a problem, you wouldn't notice it unless you looked at them closely.
The earrings are in excellent condition, with all parts intact. There are no markings on them. I am able to test for 10K, 14K and 18K Gold, and the earrings don't meet the 10K test, so they may be 9K but are most likely Gold Filled.
