Original old antique Victorian Aesthetic Movement Eastlake design cast iron coat and hat hooks. Hat goes on the top, coat goes on the bottom. They are made of japanned cast iron and once had gilding on the high spots. Beautiful example of Aesthetic Movement, Victorian Eastlake design with the geometric patterns, leaves and flower petals. The hooks measure approximately 2-3/4" tall, protrude from the wall approximately 3-7/8" and the mounting surface is app...roximately 1-3/8" wide. They are in good antique condition. They are original hooks, not reproductions! Expect surface rust, paint chips and wear to the gilding. These are old and would welcome a make over or light cleaning. With that said, they are still very sturdy and have no cracks or repairs. I am sending the screws that mounted them to a board in the old house where they were found.
