A verycharacterful and quite unusual pair of Victorian era brasscandlesticks featuring an interpretation of the very well known stone carving known as the“Lincoln Imp”, which can be seen inside Lincoln Cathedral. He isdepicted sitting, with one leg folded, in this case cast from brass.Eachcandlestick stands about 5.5 inches (13.9 cm) in height, and are set on round bases, which are more unusual than the often seen oval bases.The candlesticks are in good lightly polished condition.<...br>These would be super pieces to add to any collection of gothic, religious or medieval tmened items, and an unusual talking point in any home.
