VERY FINE c1730 CHINESE YONGZHENG CANTON FAMILLE ROSE ENAMEL WINE POT TEAPOT JOANIES NOVEMBER PREMIER NO RESERVE ESTATE AUCTIONS Hi, thank you for having a look at our auctions! Up for auction is a very fine c1730 Chinese Yongzheng period famille rose canton enamel imperial precious objects handles teapot of wine pot. This wine pot is a beautiful example that is very finely and ornately decorated throughout. The pot has a nice array of vibrant famille rose enamel colors and a unique period form. The pot is also marked with a seal to the base.
The spout has some losses were its attached and there are other minor imperfections as seen consistent with the pots very early 300-year-old age. I have actually never seen a legitimate period example like this that did not have some condition issues, so I believe it is quite acceptable among collectors for the most part. The main precious objects decor surrounding the pot is in very nice condition as seen. The pot displays beautifully measuring 7 inches tall, by 5 inches long, and 3 3/8 inches wide. As collectors of Chinese art mature they will realize it’s not always feasible to buy mint condition examples that are several hundred years old. It is Much more important to ensure you are buying “actual” antique examples like this than mint condition worthless reproductions.
