Vintage Evans oval "Banner" lighter with wind guard and original box, in good used condition. Shiny black and brass finish with gold tone monogram plate on the front of the lighter. Two brass/gold tone screws on the bottom for fuel and wick. Lighter has a wick but does not light. There is a 3/4" imperfection to the black finish (looks like a smear) on lower front right of the lighter - not very noticeable. There is also minor scuffing on the gold tone finish of the mo...nogram plate. Otherwise no dings or dents, just normal wear from use, and it does not look like it's had very heavy use considering its age. I believe these were manufactured in the 1940s. The cardboard on the top flap of the box is slightly torn at the seam and also bent.
