This is unusual set of laquered wooden shelves in four parts - two circles with a cut out star and two crescents. I'm not sure how (or if) they fit together but there are some hanging loops which may indicate where the connect.
The hand painted gold decoration contains a number of 5 toed dragons and, on the stars, some beautifully detailed bees.
Each tiny semi-circular shelf is supported by a shaped bracket. The shelves and brackets are hinged so will fold flat for transporta...tion.
There is some repair and restoration needed. One of the crescents is missing a small piece from the end, one of the shelves is missing a bracket, two bracket hinges need repair and there are some small blobs of plaster (possibly) which need to be removed. I haven't attempted any repairs or cleaning.
The circular sections are 11.5in / 29.5cm in diameter and the crescents are 19in / 48.5cm from point to point.
